Looking Up U8 is a million dollar new energy off-road vehicle under BYD's Looking Up brand.
Looking up at U8, with the support of two top-level technologies, Yi Sifang and Yunnian-P intelligent hydraulic body control system, it has the ability to independently control torque vector for four wheels, and can achieve extreme stability, tire burst control, emergency floating, turning in place, agile steering and other scene functions.
On April 18, 2023, BYD released the Looking Up U8 Luxury Edition and Off road Player Edition at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show, officially launching pre-sales. In June 2023, BYD announced during investor research that the Yangwang U8 Luxury Edition would begin official delivery in September 2023, and the Yangwang U8 Off road Player Edition would start delivery later.
On September 20, 2023, Looking Up U8 was officially launched. On November 10th, the first batch of production vehicles for the U8 luxury version were officially launched.
